How about a trifecta. I'm not going to say any of these artists are trying to bring anything "back to the future", or even that they are trying to remind us of any certain decade that many of us grew up in...

BUT... They all seem to have SOMETHING in common that i just can't put my finger on.

So, check out this yummy nibblet of psychedelic rock. It came out this year, but sounds pretty convincingly like a time machine set to 1969 and pumped full of hash smoke.

I just saw the movie "Fantastic Planet" for the first time. Super cool, neat allegory, trippy imagery, "fantastic" soundtrack. It sounds like Miles Davis in the 70s trying to make music for aliens to do drugs to.

Okay, Dudes.

I am busy. Too busy. Meanwhile, i am still digging and navigating the web and "borrowing" music i have not heard, purely for research purposes. I don't get to talk to you guys EVER anymore, so i wanted to start a fake bloggy-majig that will allow me to communicate with you all about the #1 thing we have in common: a music obsession. I just plan to post tunes whenever i get the chance. Sort of "hey, i like this today!". I don't expect that any strangers will ever wander over to this wing of the interface, so if you like something, let me know and i can send the whole album your way. The production for these guys is pretty neat, but the thing that really gets me is the uber clever word-play they can get into.
